FAQs
What You'll Learn
Freediving history, disciplines, equipment, physiology, equalization, breathing, relaxation, breath-holds, dive technique, safety, and rescue skills. A true foundation for whatever your water ambitions may be!
Prerequisites
Must be able to swim 200m without fins and support yourself in deep water. Ages 16+ with parental consent.
Primary Skill Requirements
2’00 breath-hold, 40m dynamic underwater swim, constant-weight dive to 12m, 75% or higher exam score.
Students gain access to pool practice sessions and have one year to complete unmet skill requirements.
Required Gear
All students are required to have their own mask, snorkel, and fins. Freediving-specific gear is not required, but is recommended. Weights and weight-belts are provided.
