Explore North Florida’s beautiful freshwater springs during a relaxing freediving getaway! Complete your Freediver certification or simple practice your skills in a tranquil environment with no waves, no current, and crystal clear water. We may even have manatee encounters!

This trip is great for all freediving experience levels and is an excellent option for anyone needing to complete beginner certification.

THE FLORIDA SPRINGS FREEDIVING EXPERIENCE

Explore some of the most unique and beautiful freshwater springs during an extended weekend in North Florida! With no waves, no current, and crystal clear water, the springs provide the perfect environment to learn and practice freediving skills.

New this year - end the trip with a guided paddle down the famous Ichetucknee River where river otters and manatees are commonly spotted!

    *Specific springs and dive sites will be determined closer to the trip to ensure the best conditions and best experience for the group.

  • The weather in North Florida is typically ideal this time of year, with outside temperatures ranging from 60-80°F. North Florida is rural and some springs may require an hour or more of driving to access. Lodging will be in a large, shared house with a full kitchen and peaceful outdoor area. Meals may be eaten out or cooked in the house. Participants receive a detailed trip packet upon registration.
    Wildlife in the springs is usually limited to fish and turtles, but we have the possibility of spotting otters, manatees, and alligators during planned hikes and paddles.

    Diving Conditions:
    No waves, no current, exceptional visibility. The springs stay at a constant temperature of 72°F. Depths range from 2-20m (6-66ft).

    $945 non-divers / snorkelers

    $350 deposit at time of registration.
    Remaining balance due March 15.

  • Open to all experience levels! This trip is especially well suited for beginners working to complete their Freediving certification.

    For Freediver students, classroom/pool requirements must be completed before the trip.

    This is a great trip for friends and family to join! All locations are accessible and enjoyable for non-divers and snorkelers. Note: snorkelers need to be comfortable in the water without instruction or supervision.
